Intermediate
If you have some or many years of experience, our Tuesday class is open to intermediate level and above. It is held at the Sharrow Community Forum 7:30pm - 9pm
There is a crossover integrating a music session and roda in which the beginners and intermediate students are able to play and train together.
First class is £5 then £8 per session.

Movement
Each class is structured around the fundamental movements of Capoeira Angola. The classes are interactive, challenging, adaptive and are designed to guide students to become well rounded capoeiristas.
We dive deeper into the conversation of the game and the traditions that come with specific movements.
Musicality
Of equal importance to the movement is the music of Capoeira Angola. Our students learn to play each of the instruments and to both lead and sing as part of the batería. Through the music, we also explore the history and culture of Capoeira. Every class includes a music session.
Alonside the songs, we explore more complex rhythms, variations and the context of particular combinations of music and song.
Portuguese
Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art therefore, Portuguese forms an integral part! Throughout the classes you will develop your Portuguese as we work more on pronunciation and function in order to integrate it as part of your continued Capoeira practice.
